Zusammenfassung
Organisationale Energie stellt ein bisher nur in Grundzügen erforschtes Konstrukt dar. Es beschreibt das Ausmaß, in dem ein Unternehmen sein emotionales, mentales und aktionales Potenzial für die Verfolgung seiner Ziele mobilisiert hat (Bruch/Ghoshal 2003; 2004). Die Stärke der Organisationalen Energie eines Unternehmens kommt in dem Ausmaß an Temperament, Intensität, Geschwindigkeit und Durchhaltevermögen seiner Arbeits-, Veränderungs- und Innovationsprozesse zum Ausdruck. Organisationale Energie beeinflusst die Produktivität in Unternehmen maßgeblich und hängt daher eng mit dem Erfolg von Unternehmen zusammen. Dynamischen Unternehmen gelingt es, die Energie der Organisation zu mobilisieren und durch eine Fokussierung auf Veränderungs- und Innovationsprozesse produktiv zu nutzen (Owen 1983; Tushman/ O´Reilly 1996). Dauerhaft erfolgreiche Firmen schaffen es darüber hinaus, die Energie des Unternehmens langfristig zu erhalten. Im Gegensatz zu individuumsbezogenen Energiebegriffen handelt es sich bei Organisationaler Energie um ein kollektives Konstrukt, das die synergetischen Wirkungen individueller Potenziale berücksichtigt (Etzioni 1975). Organisationale Energie ist demnach nicht einfach die Summe der individuellen Energien von Führungskräften und Mitarbeitern im Unternehmen, sondern ein eigenständiges Konstrukt.
