Zusammenfassung
Web 2.0 ist zurzeit in aller Munde. Ungefähr seit der Jahrtausendwende halten unter diesem Label eine Vielzahl neuer Software-Anwendungen zur computervermittelten Kommunikation (sog. Social Media) Einzug in unseren Alltag. Diese zeichnen sich vor allem dadurch aus, dass sie zwar technische Elemente der E-Mail-Kommunikation beinhalten, darüber hinaus allerdings auch zahlreiche weitere Formen bereitstellen, die den Kommunikationskontext erheblich erweitern. Dem Marktforschungsunternehmen Gartner Consulting zufolge wird sich die Kommunikation auch innerhalb von Organisationen in den nächsten Jahren klar von der E-Mail hin zu den Social Media verlagern
