Abstract
This chapter presents the method and data used to investigate the value of open evaluation for supporting idea selection. It consists of three sections. The first section locates part IV within the overall research approach of the thesis. In the second section, information on the prototyped innovation contest is given, encompassing background information, the design of the innovation contest and the chosen sample.
