In Theorie und Praxis bietet die Kombination der Themengebiete Führung, Hierarchie und Wandel ein sehr fruchtbares Forschungs- und Anwendungsgebiet. Führung im Wandel erfordert in den allermeisten Fällen auch Wandel in der Führung und Flexibilität in der Hierarchie. Das hier vorgestellte HFV-Modell erschließt in diesem Kontext neue Forschungsgebiete und Anwendungsmöglichkeiten.
