Basic Models of the Enterprise

The history of management studies, – more recently called business administration, – is characterized by a myriad of models and approaches to business. On the one hand are models governing an enterprise’s external relationships; these segment the environment and analyze interdependencies with the enterprise. The analysis in these cases foregrounds the various environmental issues and factors, which vary widely over time.
