Optimization – Analysis of the Real System and Environment

  • Christian Köhler

The pre-analysis of the system helps to determine the influence of errors introduced by the coupling system. The error depends strongly on the algorithms used on both sides, the simulation side and μC side, in order to process the exchanged data. First, the current chapter presents the analysis of algorithms executed on the μC. Afterwards, concepts for the analysis of the simulated environment are presented. These analysis techniques were partly presented on the 16th International Conference Mixed Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems in the paper Chip Hardware-In-The-Loop Simulation (CHILS) Coupling Optimization Through New Algorithm Analysis Technique [KMH09].
