Von diesem Kapitel an wollen wir auch abstrakte Lie-Gruppen betrachten, d.h. solche, die nicht notwendig bereits in der Form von Matrizengruppen (oder Quotienten davon) gegeben sind. Dies erfordert natürlich eine Präzisierung jener Eigenschaften, die eine solche Gruppe zusätzlich haben soll (auβer der Eigenschaft, halt eine Gruppe zu sein).
