Zusammenfassung
Statistische Hypothesentests sind spezielle Methoden, die Auskunft darüber geben sollen, ob ein bestimmter Unterschied oder Zusammenhang auch statistisch bedeutsam ist oder eher dem Bereich zufälliger Abweichungen zugeordnet werden sollte. Im ersten Fall spricht man dann auch von „statistischer Signifikanz“.
