Abstract
PL/I is not the only programming language in the world. C and also Java are also both widespread. As a PL/I programmer, you would not like to do without the clarity and conveniences of PL/I but on the other hand you wnat to benefit from new developments. PL/I also offers everything that you need in order to catch up on other programming languages—for supporting Internet services, PL/I even offers built-in functions.
