Auszug
Gegenstand des folgenden Kapitels ist die IT-Strategie. Nach der Be griffsklärung werden mit dem Wertbeitrag der IT, vorhandenen Defiziten bei der Ausschöpfung ihrer Potenziale und dem Reifegrad von IT und IT-Management wesentliche Bestimmungsfaktoren für die Ausgangssituation des strategischen IT-Managements in Organisationen beleuchtet. Auf dieser Basis folgt die Behandlung des Prozesses der IT-Strategieentwicklung mit Bestimmung des Betrachtungsbereiches, Situationsanalyse, Zieldefinition, Strategieformulierung und Maßnahmenplanung. Der dabei bereits angesprochenen Abstimmung von IT-Strategie und Unternehmensstrategie ist wegen ihrer Bedeutung anschließend ein eigenes Unterkapitel gewidmet. Ein Unternehmensbeispiel fü den Prozess der IT-Strategie entwicklung in der Praxis und sein Ergebnis schliefßt das Kapitel ab.
