Zusammenfassung
Die vorrangige Aufgabe des Ventiltriebs ist, den Ladungswechsel (G) für den Verbrennungsprozess zu steuern. Dazu benötigt er Energie, die von der Kurbelwelle geliefert wird. Ein effizienter Ventiltrieb kann somit den Wirkungsgrad (G) des Verbrennungsmotors erheblich verbessern.
