Zusammenfassung
Dieses Kapitel ist der Simulation von Einspritzprozessen gewidmet. Von theoretischer Seite betrachtet stellt sich die Thematik viel komplexer dar, als es die Existenz leicht handhabbarer „Strahlmodule“ in allen gängigen CFD-Codes zunächst vermuten ließe. Wenn man sich aber die meisten der damit erzielten Ergebnisse kritisch betrachtet, wird man sich der ganzen Schwierigkeiten der Thematik schnell bewusst. Nach wie vor gilt, dass sich mit den heute für motorische Applikationen verfügbaren Codes sinnvolle Resultate nur mit großem Aufwand erzeugen lassen.
