Die Elektrospray-Ionisation (electrospray ionization, ESI) ist das wohl bekannteste Verfahren in der Gruppe von Atmosphärendruck-Ionisationsmethoden. ESI ist normalerweise die erste Wahl für die Flüssigchromatographie-Massenspektrometrie-Kopplung (LC-MS, Kap. 14) [1-4].
