Zusammenfassung
Die Fortpflanzung ist der biologische Prozess, wie Nachkommen einer Art aus bereits bestehenden Organismen erzeugt werden und sich vermehren. Die geschlechtliche (sexuelle) Fortpflanzung findet in mehreren Entwicklungsschritten statt, von denen die Bildung der Gameten direkt mit der Funktion der Fortpflanzungsorgane in Verbindung steht (Abb. 1).
