„Anscheinend habe ich nie die Evolutionstheorie im Unterricht durchgenommen, da ich erschreckend wenig weiß. Alles sind eigentlich nur Vermutungen. Dabei habe ich gedacht, es wäre bestimmt vorgekommen und ich hätte es nur vergessen. Aber das, was ich weiß oder glaube zu wissen, ist Alltagswissen beziehungsweise -denken!“ (Teilnehmerin einer Befragung unter Biologie-Studierenden zum Thema Evolution, die Biologie in der Schule als Leistungskurs hatte).
