Zusammenfassung
Der Begriff „Software Engineering“ lässt erfahrene Entwickler reflexhaft an die „Softwarekrise“ denken, einer Krise, die nie wirklich beendet oder gelöst schien. Vielmehr darf man feststellen, dass sie letztendlich beim Endbenutzer angekommen ist: in Form instabiler PC-Software, als streikende KFZ oder durch Ausfälle in Mobilfunknetzen. Man könnte dies als moderne Folklore auffassen, hätten wir nicht die Situation, dass unser aller Leben immer mehr von korrekter Software buchstäblich abhängt.
