Die Mathematik ist so umfangreich und durchdringt nahezu sämtliche Bereiche menschlichen Strebens, dass man manchmal regelrecht überwältigt ist und das Bedürfnis verspürt, zu den Grundlagen zurückzukehren. Das bedeutet zum Beispiel, sich den natürlichen Zahlen zuzuwenden: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, ... Oder gibt es etwas noch Fundamentaleres?
