Abstract
The so called polypoid nevus of pregnancy is a compound nevus which enlarges and darkens during pregnancy, and displays unusual histological features. The milk line nevi are nevi excised in the axillary, breast, umbilical and perineal areas; this group of lesions occasionally shows a histological picture simulating melanoma.
