Zusammenfassung
An der Zellmembran tierischer und pflanzlicher Zellen sind transmembranäre Kanalproteine lokalisiert, welche vom extrazellulären Raum bis in das Zytoplasma reichen. Diese Proteine sind die strukturellen Bausteine für zentral gelegene, hochspezifische Poren, die auf den Transport von anorganischen Ionen spezialisiert sind. Sie werden deshalb als Ionenkanäle bezeichnet [1,2]
