Zusammenfassung
Die Veränderungen bevorzugen die zentralen Gesichtspartien, insbesondere Nase und Wangen. Der etwa dreimal häufigere erythematöse Typ (Stadium I: Rosacea erythematosa) mit persistierenden Erythemen und Teleangiektasien (Abb. 23.1) wird vom papulopustulösen Typ (Stadium II: Rosacea papulopustulosa), der zusätzlich durch entzündliche oder auch pustulöse Knoten gekennzeichnet ist (Abb. 23.2), unterschieden. Stärker entzündliche Knoten in Verbindung mit einer Gewebevermehrung kennzeichnen die Rosacea conglobata (Stadium III). Als Vorstadium werden flüchtige (transiente) Erytheme, die anfallsweise auftreten, gewertet.
