Zusammenfassung

Im Jahre 1880 beschrieb der Pariser Neurologe und Psychiater Dr. med. Jules Cotard (geb. 1840, verstorben 1889) ein psychisches Zustandsbild, das er als einen speziellen Typus einer agitierten Melancholie/Depression verstand und als dessen Besonderheit er ein „délire des négations“ herausstellte; später ging dieses Bild als „Cotard-Syndrom“ in die Literatur ein (Arenz 2003, Arenz u.
