Abstract
Polyethylene wear and periprosthetic osteolysis is a worrisome and frequent complication of total hip arthroplasty, at present time, it is the major problems of total hip replacement. This phenomenon is more significant in our society due to most THR cases in our daily practice are young active patients with femoral head AVN. Revision of the acetabular component (liner or +metal shell) with head segment exchange is probably the most common revision operation around the hip at this moment In this retrospectived study, we wound share our experience in the past ten years.
