Zusammenfassung

Die zunehmende Miniaturisierung des Instrumentariums für endovaskuläre Interventionen ermöglicht den Einsatz der pneumatischen Ballonangioplastie (PTA) und Stentimplantation auch im Indikationsbereich pädiatrischer Gefäßerkrankungen. Endovaskuläre rekonstruktive Verfahren ersetzen in der Erwachsenenmedizin in zunehmendem Maß traditionelle operative Verfahren, wobei im pädiatrischen Indikationsbereich der renalen Angioplastie die minimalinvasive Technologie bereits als Therapie der ersten Wahl eingesetzt wird [17].
