Der in Abb. 1 angeführte Algorithmus führt durch die Differentialdiagnose der Tachykardie mit schmalen QRS-Komplexen, hierbei handelt es sich in aller Regel urn supraventrikuläre Tachykardien: Nach der Überprüfung der QRS-Breite wird die Regelmäßigkeit oder Unregelmäßigkeit der Tachykardie bewertet:
