Abstract
Cartilage defects are unlikely to be diagnosed by clinical examination. Solely hemarthrosis or locking symptoms may suggest existence of a traumatic osteochondral lesion. Presenting symptoms are usually increased overall knee pain following strenuous physical activity. Pain is commonly not to be localized by triggering classic pressure points.
