Zusammenfassung
Die Behandlung des dialysepflichtigen Kindes ist mit einer Reihe spezifischer Probleme verbunden, die zum einen die chronische Krankheit, zum anderen die Krankheitsbehandlung im Kindesalter induzieren. Neben relativ häufig entstehenden emotionalen und psychosozialen Störungen sind es vor allem behandlungstechnische Probleme, welche die Langzeittherpie des Kindes mit der künstlichen Niere belasten. Insbesondere Schwierigkeiten um Shunt und Shunteinsatz, also um den erforderlichen chronischen Zugang zum Blutkreislauf des Kindes, werden als behandlungskomplizierende Probleme immer wieder genannt [9, 11, 15, 16, 34]. Dementsprechend werden von nephropädiatrischer Seite ganz unterschiedliche Gefäßzugänge für das dialysepflichtige Kind empfohlen.
