Abstract
In this chapter, I continue the evaluation of Temporary Extra Jobs and shortterm training programs begun in chapter 5 by examining their efficiency. Programs can be recommended for use only if they are shown to be efficient as well as effective. In this chapter, I define efficiency as a state in which program benefits outweigh program costs.
