Economic Integration, Vertical and Horizontal Intra-industry Trade and Structural Adjustment: the Spanish Experience
Current research in international trade suggests that intra-industry trade1 (simultaneous imports and exports of similar products) has acquired an increasing importance in the last years, particularly in the case of transactions of manufactured products among industrialised countries.
