Various online stores have recently integrated different kinds of recommender systems in their e-commerce storefronts. Thereby, the general public is becoming more and more accustomed and positively attached to these value-adding services. Recommender systems in online stores present products as recommendations to customers according to the customers’ current interests and needs. On the one hand, customers profit from a faster finding of relevant products, on the other hand, stores profit from rising sales.
