Spatio-temporal Functional Regression on Paleoecological Data

The aim of this presentation is modeling the relationship between genetic diversity (represented by a positive number) and curves of temperature and precipitation. Our model links the genetic measure to the climate curves through a functional regression. The interaction in climate variables is assumed to be bilinear and the methodology accounts for the spatial dependence among the observations.
