Zusammenfassung
Die ELMOS Gruppe entwickelt und produziert kundenspezifische Halbleiterchips. Diese applikationsspezifischen Chips werden zum Großteil in der Automobilbranche (90%), aber auch in Konsum- und Haushaltsprodukten eingesetzt, wie beispielsweise in Personenwaagen oder Waschmaschinen. Diese so genannten ASICs (Application Specific Integrated Circuits, dt. Kundenspezifischen Integrierten Schaltungen) werden in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Kunden direkt auf die spezifischen Bedürfnisse abgestimmt.
