Abstract

In general, it is a difficult problem to solve an optimal criterion set with fuzzy constraint conditions. In this paper, the difficult problem is changed into a simple problem to solve a conditional extreme value problem in mathematics. Thus it becomes rather simpler to solve the problems for fuzzy linear programming and fuzzy nonlinear programming. The paper provides with detailed case studies on optimization with single fuzzy constraint condition as well as on optimization with multi-fuzzy constraint conditions and multi-objective functions. Finally, this paper presents related theories on determination of the optimal criterion set.
