Abstract

We have described techniques for reducing prodigy search based on primary effects and abstraction. First, we have presented algorithms for the selection of primary effects, and given an analytical and empirical evaluation of the resulting search reduction. Second, we have extended Knoblock’s abstraction technique to the full domain language of prodigy4.
