A Polytropic Ideal Gas in Bounded Annular Domains in \( \mathbb{R}^n \)

Abstract

In this chapter we shall establish the global existence and exponential stability of solutions in Hi (i=1,2,4) for the compressible Navier-Stokes equations of a polytropic ideal gas in bounded annular domains in ℝn (n=2,3). Since the versions of these equations are more complicated than (2.1.1)–(2.1.3) in Chapter 2, it is necessary for us to further study this model.
