In this chapter, we recall some busic results, most of which will be used in subsequent chapters. The reader can easily find detailed proofs in the related literature, see, e.g., Adams [1], Friedman [107, 108], Gagliardo [113, 114], Maz’ja [258], Nirenberg [297–300] Tanabe [403] and Yosida [438].
