Nonlocal Functions and Bundles

Part of the Operator Theory: Advances and Applications book series (OT, volume 183)

An important notion in the theory of nonlocal operators is the notion of the crossed product of a C*-algebra by a discrete group. Such products (where for the algebra we consider an appropriate algebra of functions) play the role of algebras of symbols in this theory. In this section, we present necessary definitions and main facts of interest to us in the theory of crossed products.1
