Results of monitoring projects

The 2005 food monitoring scheme included the ten following projects (P01 to P10) looking into particular problems:
  1. P01:

    Furan in foodstuff

  2. P02:

    Carbendazim in fruit juices

  3. P03:

    Glycoside alkaloids in potatoes

  4. P04:

    Lead and cadmium in some supplementary foodstuffs

  5. P05:

    Residues of plant protection products in tomatoes

  6. P06:

    Persistent organo-chlorine compounds in glasshouse cucumber

  7. P07:

    Ochratoxin A, deoxynivalenol and zearalenone in cereal flours

  8. P08:

    Cadmium in cutterfish products

  9. P09:

    Benzo(a)pyrene in smoked fish

  10. P10:

    Herbicide residues in some kinds of vegetables

These projects were managed each by an office laboratory of the food control authorities of the federal states (Bundesländer). The project reports compiled in this chapter have been drawn up by the managing offices or laboratories.
