Zusammenfassung
Stellt man die Frage, ob das Selbst den Verlauf von Krebs im Sinne von Remission oder Heilung beeinflussen kann, so ist die Fragestellung zu eng, und es ist schwierig, dafür Beweise zu erbringen. Lautet die Frage jedoch, ob das Selbst darauf Einfluβ nehmen kann, wie man den Verlauf der Krankheit erlebt, dann besitzen wir — so glaube ich — genügend klinische Belege für das Ausmaß in dem ein gestärktes Selbst zu einem positiveren Erleben der Krankheit führen kann, wie auch immer diese verläuft.
