Elastic Scattering of K+ from Light Nuclei
Sensitivity of the total cross section for 12C and d to the relativistic corrections is investigated in the multiple scattering formalism. The relativistic treatment of the dynamics of the K +-nucleus (K + A) and the K +-nucleon (K + N) systems is found to be important. Results of calculations with a coupled-channel separable model for the K + N amplitude are presented for the σ tot of the K + N and K + A scattering.
