Abstract
Ten workshop attendees participated in a working group discussion of user and task modeling. An overarching theme to the discussion concerned the problem of the impact of formal modeling on software development in practice, and what might be done to facilitate that transfer. The discussion resulted in the identification of potential research questions and some specific challenges for formal modeling proponents.
