Zusammenfassung
Störungen perzeptiver oder sensorimotorischer Prozesse nach transkranieller Magnetstimulation (TMS) des menschlichen Kortex sind kritisch vom Zeitpunkt und Ort der Stimulation abhängig (z.B. Amassian et al. 1989, Beckers und Hömberg 1992), so daß nicht invasiv und mit hoher Zeitauflösung Aussagen darüber möglich werden, wann welche Kortex-Areale an einem solchen Prozeß beteiligt sind. Day et al. (1989) haben gezeigt, daß TMS die motorische Antwort in einem Reaktionszeitparadigma verzögern kann, wenn die Stimulation kurz vor Beginn der erwarteten Reaktion erfolgt. Da eine nicht fokale konzentrische Reizspule mit großem Durchmesser benutzt wurde, blieb unklar ob dieser Negativ-Effekt spezifisch an die Stimulation des motorischen Kortex gebunden ist. Wir haben diese Frage in einem ähnlichen Einfachauswahl-Reaktionszeit (RZ) — Experiment mit Hilfe einer fokalen Schmetterlingsspule (Stimulator: Cadwell MES 10; maximale Feldstärke 2 Tesla) an sechs gesunden Probanden untersucht.
