Kurzfassung
EDV-Systeme leisten dem Krankenhauspersonal in vielen Bereichen der Verwaltung, Medizin und Pflege wertvolle Unterstützung, um deren Arbeiten effizient zu organisieren, kurzfristig zu planen, umfassend zu dokumentieren und abzurechnen. Das EDV-System unterstützt dabei den laufenden Arbeitsfluß und sorgt so für kurze Anforderungs- und Leistungszeiten. Die Einführung oder der Ausbau von EDV-Systemen muß heute unter den Gesichtspunkten extremer Wirtschaftlichkeit durchgeführt werden. Anhand von Standards in der Medizin und Informatik wird gezeigt, daß heute die Möglichkeiten zum Aufbau von integrierten Systemen gegeben sind.
