Zusammenfassung
Mediziner, Studenten und Laien bezweifeln oder bestreiten sogar, daß es notwendig ist, irgend etwas über Theorie und Methodik der Medizinethik zu wissen, um „ethisch handeln“ zu können. Und da die meisten Mediziner, genau wie auch die meisten Laien, nur wenig über Theorie und Methodik wissen und doch zweifellos für gewöhnlich „ethisch handeln“, so hat das auch einen wahren Kern in sich. Aber es ist leider nur ein Kern der Wahrheit: Im täglichen Leben ethisch zu handeln ist anders, als bei schwierigen ethischen Problemen am Krankenbett bzw. im Sozialwesen gut, also ethischrichtig, handeln zu können.
