Abstract
The paper starts with discussion of the present way of teaching computer simulation and contrasts it with teaching of the same subject with the help of multimedia instruments. The practical implementations of the main principles are demonstrated with the help of a multimedia teaching material, which is a PC stand alone application for teaching mathematical ecology and computer simulation.
