Abstract

This paper describes our approach towards constructing an electronic information system. The purpose of this information system is to provide information about activities and research work done at our department. Firstly we investigate relevant design targets and requirements and their influence on the implementation process. Secondly we review different approaches towards hypermedia developments in respect to our previous analysis. The authoring process is a crucial point in the generation of hypermedia documents. In the last part we emphasize our experience with the authoring process and describe details of the implementation process.
