Das deutsche Tierschutzgesetz schreibt ebenso wie das EG-Recht vor, daß bei der Entscheidung, ob Tierversuche durchgeführt werden dürfen, zu prüfen ist. ob der verfolgte Zweck nicht durch andere Methoden oder Verfahren erreicht werden kann.
