Die Versorgung psychisch Kranker aus der Sicht des praktischen Arztes

Zusammenfassung

Es wurde in einer Praxisstudie untersucht, wie hoch der Prozentsatz von psychisch Kranken im Patientengut eines praktischen Arztes ist. Weiters wurde die Zahl der Ordinationen aus psychischen Gründen sowie deren Wertigkeit untersucht. Es zeigte sich, daß ca. 10 Prozent der Patienten psychische Probleme hatten. Davon waren neben den Affektpsychosen und der Medikamentenabhängigkeit die Patienten mit psychosomatischen Erkrankungen die größte Gruppe.

Summary

The authors conducted a practical study to determine the percentage of mentally ill patients compared with the total patient population of a general practitioner. The number of consultations on the grounds of mental problems and their valency were also examined. It turned out that about 10% of the patients had mental problems. Besides affective psychoses and addiction to pharmaceuticals, patients with psychosomatic disorders constituted the largest group.
