Zusammenfassung

Das Letalitätsrisiko der Pseudomonas-Sepsis gehört zu den höchsten unter den septischen Erkrankungen [9]: so betrug die Sterblichkeit in einer vor kurzem vorgestellten Untersuchung [9] an 274 Patienten 42%. Als ein Versuch, diese ernste Prognose von Patienten mit Pseudomonas-Sepsis und septischem Schock zu verbessern, sind additive, zusätzlich zu den Antibiotika eingesetzte Therapien Gegenstand experimenteller und klinischer Untersuchungen. Hierzu gehören z. B. der Einsatz von Immunglobulinen [3–6, 12, 22, 27] oder monoklonalen Antikörpern gegen Pseudomonas-Toxine [11, 14, 25, 26].
