Abstract
The description of few-nucleon systems, keeping account of explicit quark degrees of freedom, is considered. One particular model, the Quark Compound Bag model, is reviewed. Applications of this model to nucleon-nucleon scattering, the deuteron and the three-nucleon bound state are discussed.
