A Simultaneous Combined Anterior and Posterior Approach to the Cervical Spine for the Resection of an Osteoblastoma
Osteoblastoma of the cervical spine is a tumor well known for its liability to recur following operative resection. This may in part be related to the pathological nature of the tumor, but in part is probably also due to its tendency to involve the lateral elements of a vertebra, thereby making an initial complete resection difficult.
